Spiritual Retreat focused on the Ramayana - October 24 to 30 at La Maison pour Tous

Immerse yourself in the sacred story of Sri Sita and Sri Rama during an immersive retreat dedicated to the study of Goswami Tulsidas's Ramacharitamanas.

During these five days, the entire narrative will be explored through the seven main chapters of this emblematic work of the bhakti tradition.

Each session will offer a spiritual, philosophical, and devotional approach, allowing participants to discover the depth of the Ramayana's teachings and their application in daily life.

The program will be structured around:

- prayers and ceremonies in the temple dedicated to Sri Rama,
- the recitation of sacred texts such as the Hanuman Chalisa,
- moments of bhajan and kirtan inspired by the themes discussed,
- times for discussion, contemplation, and spiritual immersion.

This retreat is a true invitation to experience the spirit of the Ramayana, deepen the path of Bhakti Yoga, and draw closer to the Divine through the teachings transmitted by Paramahamsa Vishwananda.

Open to everyone — from beginners to advanced practitioners — this retreat offers a privileged space to nourish devotion, spiritual understanding, and inner experience.

Who is Rishi Vrishaparvaananda?

Rishi Vrishaparvaananda is a monk residing in the ashram of his spiritual Master, Paramahamsa Vishwananda. His primary role within the mission is centered on the study and transmission of scriptures as presented by Paramahamsa Vishwananda. He is thus an integral part of Bhakti Marga's knowledge team.

He first met Paramahamsa Vishwananda in Switzerland, his native country, in 2017. A year later, he decided to follow the path taught by Paramahamsa Vishwananda, having recognized in Him the one who held the key to life's deepest questions. He entered the monastic order in 2022 and received the blessing to become a Rishi – a special blessing related to teaching – in 2024, during Navarātrī.

Why is knowledge important?

  • It allows us to know our spiritual path: how to find the ultimate meaning of our life? It inspires us to live, to love, and to grow over time.
  • The mind often asks questions and needs clarification to open up to new ideas. Knowledge allows us to set a clear goal and focus on the right things to overcome our limitations.
  • Knowledge allows us to experience devotion: it helps us deepen our connection to the Divine; Saints inspire us in their relationship with the Divine.
  • Knowledge transforms personal experience into wisdom.
